OCP QUARTET
of the
OREGON
CHAMBER
PLAYERS
Victoria Racz, oboe & English horn
Timoteus Racz, violin
Bev Gibson, viola
Collin Heade, cello
The OCP QUARTET was formed by members of the OREGON CHAMBER
PLAYERS in 2002 out of necessity after countless requests from
people wanting a string quartet to play at concerts, weddings,
corporate parties and other special events. This quartet differs
from a standard string ensemble with violin, viola, cello and OBOE
for an infusion of color and elegance.
We’ve
performed outdoor weddings in flower-strewn fields and gardens, a
candle-lit ceremony in Portland’s Governor Hotel and wedding
receptions at country clubs, private homes, and even a private party
at Portland’s Center for the Performing Arts.
Let
us help you make your event special – work with reliable
professionals who love sharing your celebrations with you!

Your amazing music made the entire ceremony even more memorable,
from beginning to end. We appreciate your being able to share
your talents and excellent selection of music with us at Paige and
Eric's wedding. We're so happy that we "found" you through our
friend Amy Rangel, a member of the North Coast Orchestra!
Warm wishes,
Betsy McMahon

...Your music added so much to the event, and we
are so incredibly pleased with your group....Everyone came up to us
and specifically mentioned how much they enjoyed the music - and how
it took the evening to a whole new level.
Thanks again - very much!

'The kids and teachers all enjoyed your visit to
our school. We feel fortunate that we could take part in such a fun
and educational experience. Many of the kids have had little
exposure to the world of music. We appreciate your time and
talent! Lauren is still talking about her "violin playing". The kids
loved being involved!'

....You guys played so beautifully and added that special touch to
our wedding that we've always dreamed of. When we were watching some
of the raw video footage my brother shot, his high powered
professional mic recorded your music with an amazing quality. You
played flawlessly! ...

"Everyone has commented on how much you added to
the event and how great the four of you sounded. It was lots of fun
and your song selections were great (I am impressed that you could
play Mozart and Gershwin within minutes of each other and have it
sound so natural). Anyway, I am telling everyone the name of your
group, referring them to the website, and encouraging them to attend
your chamber music events. Lynn and I will definitely be attending
as often as our schedules will allow. You are a real treasure within
our community."

“A special thanks to the
OCP Quartet who blessed us with a truly special one and a half hour
(+) bouquet of sound in the living room of our Parade Home on VIP
night. (Joplin, Mozart, Gershwin, Pachelbel and more-wow!) Your
variety of musical pieces combined with the talent, skill, and
professionalism of each member held many of our guests completely
spellbound as they meandered through the home. We received many,
many positive compliments for the added air of festivity. Some even
commented that the quality of musical entertainment was the icing on
our cake called “The Highlander”
You have a classy
program, and that contributed to making our home a classy product!
Thank you, Thank you!”

"Thank you for returning to Calaroga Terrace for another
delightful performance... The music was very pleasant....and
everyone enjoyed the popular pieces, including Timoteus' March and
the two pieces by Michael McLean with whose work I was
unfamiliar..."
